Volodmyr Antoniv (Vova Antoniv)
clarinettist, film music composer, multi-instrumentalist and music producer born in Lviv.
He studied clarinet at the FCUM in Warsaw and film music composition at the Academy
of Music in Łódź. 

He was twice nominated for the "Transatlantyk Young Composer Award". In 2015, he was on the list of nominees in the international Soundtrack Cologne competition. A member of the "Kayah and Transoriental Orchestra", in which he plays the clarinet and synthesizers.

Most often he creates music for the design area.
He has written music for many clients, such as Vitra, Kvadrat, HEM, Vogue Poland  as well as for award-winning animations, such as: "Pussy" by Renata Gąsiorowska, "Ab ovo", "Locus" by Anita Naqvi-Kwiatkowska. He is also working on compositions for the Staaliche Museen Zu Berlin, Noordbrabants Museum and Dutch Desing Week.

In 2017, he founded the MIRYA collective, whose idea is to create original film music recorded live by outstanding instrumentalists who are members of the team.

Currently, apart from composing, he works in a duet with Jozak Sander, conducting workshops for musicians of the "Wir Sind Neu" Symphony Orchestras on live performances of classical music combined with electronics. In 2018, as part of the project, together with the Lusatian Philharmonic Orchestra, he performed a live concert of classical pieces combined with electronics. The co-creator and co-organizer of several editions of Polish-German workshops for musicians "Live Act Masters" under the patronage of the Goethe Institute.

He says that the clarinet is his greatest love and the greatest curse because he has been with him from an early age. For over 20 years of professional work as a musician, he has created his own world of clarinet sounds, which he will present soon to the world as a solo artist.


Vova lives and works in Europe, sometimes living on the coast of Spain, sometimes also hiding and creating in his favorite forest in central Poland.
